Historic houses

With over 20 owners of Britain’s finest historic houses participating in Lady Foley Grand Tours, Alexandra and her colleagues can tailor an itinerary with up to two invitations a day and/or a tour over several days, subject to the availability of the house owners. Dinner parties can also be arranged at the discretion of the house owners and in this instance, guests would stay overnight at a luxury hotel closest to the estate.

Examples of historic house owners participating in Lady Foley Grand Tours;

  • The Duke of Rutland, Belvoir Castle (www.belvoircastle.com), Leicestershire
  • The Lady Ashcombe, Sudeley Castle (www.sudeleycastle.co.uk), Gloucestershire
  • Sir Benjamin Slade Bt., Maunsel House (www.maunselhouse.co.uk), Somerset

Julian Fellowes, creator of Downton Abbey said;

“The Lady Foley Grand Tour seems to me to benefit everyone concerned. The visitors who could not hope for a better time, and the estate owners who will host the general merriment. In short, it is a thoroughly good thing for British heritage generally. Alexandra knows this world well, and the people in it, and I wish her success
in this endeavour.”
